Well it came, FAST, and then it went. I wanted to let the dust settle from all the work and excitement before drafting this ‘summary’ of our workshop, if you will! Melissa and I poured so much heart & soul into the second annual annemarie workshop, and it’s bittersweet knowing it’s over but thrilling to see all the beautiful content our attendees are now posting across their social accounts.
That was our why. We created anne marie workshop co. after seeing the success our own styled shoots had in the growth of our businesses. Styled weddings are the perfect way to gain new connections in the industry with vendors and peers, to think through posing and settings in a controlled environment, to be creative and try something new, and to show your ideal clients the work you’re capable of achieving. Our goal is that each attendee can leave feeling inspired creatively. That they have confidence at their next wedding or session, and that they have beautiful curated images to share with their current and future clients, helping to set them apart in a saturated market.
We had 7 eager-to-learn attendees this year, 5 stunning models, and 15 incredible vendors (listed & linked at the bottom). We purposefully keep our workshops small and intimate so each attendee feels important and has equal opportunity to ask questions and photograph our set-up. This year we chatted, drank mimosas, listened to music, and had a blast as we all got together for a common love: photography.
And before I share some behind the scenes, quick shout out to my business partner-in-crime, Melissa from Melissa Anne Floral Co! The styled shoot in it’s entirety was designed by her, including those beautiful floral arrangements! QUEEN!
