With all the sessions I've done this summer on the lake shore, you'd think maybe I'd be over it by now. Absolutely not! I do tend to get uninspired in locations that I overuse, but the beach is not one of them. The warm sand, golden light, flowy grass, and of course the expansive sparkling water...I will never tire of shooting on the lake shore!

I was so happy when Ashley reached out to me about a maternity session with her husband, and even more excited when she requested the beach. They are expecting a BOY any day now. Maternity sessions are close to my heart. They remind me of those (long) sweet days of wonder and anticipation. I mostly remember how eager I was to look into my baby's eyes, and finally kiss his little cheeks, and I know they share that same anticipation.

Congratulations Jacques Family! Your lives are changing, but all for the better. Enjoy these final, quiet moments.
